Youth Mass are Darren Mullarkey, Neil Nevins, Willy Gray, Gavin Mulhall and Barry Mullarkey. They are an alternative / indie pop band from Trim who pride themselves on their riffs, on their melodies and on their ability to deliver a unique, guitar driven sound during their live shows.

They've released two EP's and one album to date, all attracted very favourable reviews (as too do their live shows - see live reviews below).

Their latest EP, LOST FUTURES, was released on April 27th, with the lead single - Someone is Calling - coming out that same day. They played a live show that night in The Workman's Club Dublin to mark the occasion.

Remember when Bloc Party used to be fun, that's Youth Mass; a fully formed, genre busting guitar outfit that, thankfully, remembers how to put on a show

They soak up the greatness and relay it musically. Something in the way they do it secures an early Radiohead comparison for the innovation before the longing of the lyrics opens it all out into Arcade Fire territory. The excellent texture shows how much they appreciate everything from how it adds volume. It is an invigorating live showing that cuts loose with wild abandonment as they go all out.
